Due to foreseeable health and safety challenged we regret to announce STEM Day 2022, previously scheduled for March 15 has been cancelled. Plans are in the works for a virtual Careers and Academic Programs in STEM event to be held March 2022. We anticipate the return of our in-person event in March 2023. STEM Day, presented by Wayne State University — focusing on science, technology, engineering and math — sign-up to be the first to learn event information as well as registration details.
During STEM DAY, sixth-through ninth-grade students participate in two hands-on, interactive sessions covering a range of STEM studies and career opportunities, including:

In addition to the sessions, attendees fully experienced Wayne State through campus tours and a complimentary lunch. STEM Day 2022 is free and open to teachers with their classes as well as individual virtual and home schooled students.
